In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a successful 15-year run in Las Vegas and across the nation before making the move from lead singer of a cover band to a tribute artist dedicated to one of his childhood heroes.

In 1995, Garrett was selected more info by the legendary Paul Revere to portray Neil Diamond in the “Legends in Concert” show in Honolulu, Hawaii.

What was meant to be a limited run turned into a three-year success.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another couple of years before deciding to create his own tribute production.

He began a busy tour circuit, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds.”

He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues that typically host major artists.

Garrett has also earned several honors, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.
